The Arab Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced on Tuesday that it has resumed production at well G105 in the Nafoura field following the completion of extensive maintenance works.

The maintenance included replacing an old, corroded and scaled pipeline with a new 6-inch diameter, 700-meter long pipeline. This upgrade is expected to improve the flow of crude oil and ensure the continuity of production.

In a statement published on their Facebook page, the company also noted that the maintenance work involved replacing old isolation valves, enhancing operational safety levels, and reducing potential risks.

Well G105, located at Station 4, is one of the productive wells where new improvements are expected to minimize malfunctions and leaks, thereby extending the operational life of the well and enhancing its production efficiency.

The maintenance project was carried out by the Pipeline Maintenance Unit, Production Engineering Coordination, and Sub-Complex Operations Department, in coordination with the Maintenance Coordination and Field Supervisor, and in cooperation with the Transport and Safety Departments to ensure the operations proceeded according to the highest standards of quality and safety.
