The Director General of Libya’s Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belqasem Khalifa Haftar, inaugurated a new Social Care Home in Benghazi in the presence of several members of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Osama Hammad, and senior officials from the fund.

The opening comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen social services and support vulnerable groups, with the aim of providing a safe, dignified, and well-equipped environment for beneficiaries. Officials said the project reflects a commitment to delivering social care in line with high humanitarian and development standards.

After the completion of construction and full تجهيز, the Social Care Home is now considered a model modern facility offering comprehensive services and suitable living conditions for its residents. The center is expected to play an important role in enhancing community welfare and improving the quality of life for those in need.

The project forms part of broader initiatives led by the Development and Reconstruction Fund to expand social infrastructure in Benghazi and reinforce the foundations of sustainable development and social stability.
