The Jalyana Free Zone in Benghazi has received significant fuel supplies over the past hours, as part of ongoing efforts to support the domestic energy market and maintain fuel availability across Libya.

According to available information, the fuel tanker PS NEW ORLEANS docked at the port carrying approximately 41 million litres of gasoline. The shipment is expected to help reinforce fuel distribution networks and ease pressure on local supply.

In parallel, the tanker LONG TONS entered the Mokhtaf area loaded with 32,400 metric tons of diesel fuel, adding further support to the country’s fuel reserves.

The arrivals come amid continued monitoring of fuel supply chains to ensure stable distribution to stations and industrial users. Authorities have been working to maintain steady imports of refined petroleum products to meet domestic demand and prevent shortages.

Energy sector observers note that the regular arrival of fuel shipments plays a critical role in stabilising the Libyan market, particularly during periods of high consumption.
