Afriqiyah Airways has announced the suspension of all flights to and from the Jordanian capital, Amman, effective immediately and until further notice.

The airline said the decision was taken due to security conditions at Amman International Airport and based on recommendations issued by the Air Safety Office.

In a brief statement, the carrier confirmed that the move is precautionary and will remain in place pending further developments. The airline did not specify when operations might resume.

The suspension comes amid heightened regional tensions that have affected aviation safety assessments and flight operations across parts of the Middle East.

Passengers booked on affected routes are advised to follow official updates from the airline regarding rebooking and travel arrangements.
