Libya has completed the transfer of its pilgrims to Mount Arafat as Muslims around the world mark the most important day of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
The Libyan General Authority for Hajj and Umrah said all Libyan pilgrims had arrived at Arafat ahead of the standing ritual, one of the central pillars of Hajj.
The authority said the movement was carried out under careful organisational arrangements aimed at helping pilgrims perform their rituals in a calm and safe environment.
The successful transfer follows days of intensive work by the Libyan Hajj mission, which supervised transport operations and coordinated the movement of pilgrims between the holy sites.
The mission said its teams worked to secure transport, monitor logistics, and ensure the safety and comfort of Libyan pilgrims throughout their journey.
With their arrival at Arafat, Libyan pilgrims have reached the peak of their spiritual journey. The Day of Arafat is regarded as the most significant stage of Hajj, during which pilgrims gather in prayer and reflection before continuing the remaining rituals.
