The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that Libya produced 41,867,126 barrels of crude oil during June 2026, while oil revenues transferred to the country’s sovereign account exceeded $3.26 billion, reflecting the continued strong performance of the country’s energy sector.
According to figures released by the NOC, the Libyan state’s share of total crude production reached 29,950,320 barrels, while international partners received 10,909,540 barrels under existing production-sharing agreements. The corporation also reported that 7,758,304 barrels remained available for export as of 30 June.
The NOC said Libya exported 25,480,272 barrels of crude oil during the month. At the same time, 4,097,943 barrels were supplied to domestic refineries to meet local demand, while 372,105 barrels were delivered to power plants to support electricity generation across the country.
The corporation also reported strong natural gas production during June, with total output reaching 73,323.7 million cubic feet. Of that amount, 71,661.4 million cubic feet was available for domestic consumption, while 53,378.6 million cubic feet was utilized. The report also recorded 11,365.4 million cubic feet of sour gas and low-pressure hydrocarbon gases.
Financially, the NOC said oil revenues transferred to the sovereign account at the Libyan Foreign Bank totaled $3,260,938,421.20 during June. In addition, LYD 2.72 billion in royalties and taxes related to petroleum concession agreements administered by the Ministry of Oil and Gas was transferred during the same period.
