On Friday, the Towage, Salvage & Marine Services Company announced the arrival of the oil tanker ‘SONGA PEARL’ at the berth of the Brega Petroleum Marketing Company, in Tobruk’s Hariga oil port.

In a statement, the company said that the tanker came to ship about 15,000 metric tons of heavy oil, after being provided marine services by the company’s tugs and pilot boats.

The company announced the arrival of another tanker, ‘OLYMPIC FIGHT’, which docked on the berths of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company at the Hariga port. The tanker is due to ship 1,000,000 barrels of crude oil, after being provided marine services.

Members of the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) at the port have ended a sit-in over salary payment delays, the port’s manager Rajab Sahnoun told Reuters on Wednesday.

Sahnoun noted that a tanker, that had been waiting to load oil, was able to enter the port early on Thursday.
