Head of Libya’s Presidential Council Receives Algerian Foreign Minister

Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi received Algerian Foreign Minister, Sabri Boukadoum, Algerian Minister of Interior, Kamal Beljoud, and their accompanying delegation.

Al-Mnifi’s media office said in a statement on Monday, that they discussed joint cooperation and affirmed the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries.

The Head of the Presidential Council stressed Libya’s keenness to enhance and strengthen cooperation in various fields with Algeria, appreciating the role it played in ensuring the security and stability of Libya.

Boukadoum conveyed the congratulations of the Algerian President to Al-Mnifi on his election, and emphasised his keenness to restore security and stability to Libya. Boukadoum also stated that the Algerian President invited Al-Mnifi to visit Algiers, with Al-Mnifi accepting, and expressing his intention to visit soon.
