On Sunday, Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Al-Mangoush appreciated the “steadfast role” of Algeria, in preserving Libyan sovereignty and stability.

During a joint conference with her Algerian counterpart, Sabri Boukadoum, she said that strengthening bilateral cooperation would require greater efforts to address all obstacles that have prevented effective economic cooperation and trade.

She praised Algeria’s role and commitment to the holding of elections in Libya, set for 24 December 2021.

Al-Mangoush stated that she discussed with Boukadoum the holding of a joint Supreme Committee at the ministerial level, through which many important commercial, security, and health issues will be discussed.
