The Libyan Embassy in Berlin announced that the two week mandatory quarantine for stranded nationals would begin today, Wednesday April 29, in preparation for their return to Libya.

The Embassy indicated that the cut off point for registration and entry procedures at the selected hotel would be at exactly 18.00 on May 1.

Upon arrival at the hotel, samples will be taken to conduct medical tests for COVID-19. Further testing will be done at the end of the quarantine period.

Every citizen will be required to provide their personal information and that of their family members, in addition to signing a contract to abide by the quarantine regulations.
