Two young Syrian men lost their lives in a devastating car accident on Al-Furnaj Road in Tripoli, while a third is critically injured and under intensive care.

According to the “Syrians in Libya,” platform, the young men were en route to their workplace early Tuesday morning, when their car spun out of control and collided with a traffic light. The impact was so severe that the car burst into flames immediately.

Two of the occupants died immediately, while the third was rushed to Tripoli Medical Hospital. His identity has yet to be confirmed.

This accident serves as a somber reminder of the importance of road safety and the unpredictable nature of life.

Days ago, a devastating car crash in Sebha tragically resulted in the death of three individuals, as reported by the General Hospital of Barak. The accident involved a direct collision between two vehicles on the Barak Al-Shuwerf road.

One of the vehicles was entirely engulfed in flames, leading to the unfortunate death of two men and one woman. The hospital’s emergency department is currently overseeing the situation, and the investigation is ongoing to ascertain further details about this incident.

In April, seven people were killed in a traffic accident after two cars collided, in the east of the country.

The accident occurred on the Coastal Road between Ras Lanuf and Sidra. An entire family of five died, in addition to two other victims in the other car.

The two cars caught fire, and firefighters tried to control the intensely burning flames, which left the two vehicles charred.

In October 2022, a family of eight were killed in a traffic accident in the Umm Al-Gharaniq area, east of Sirte.

The incident occurred after a small car and a passenger bus collided with a herd of camels on the Ras Lanuf-Ajdabiya road. A man, his wife, four sons, and two daughters were killed in the accident.

The phenomenon of loose camels is widespread on highways, in several regions of Libya. These are known to cause traffic accidents, resulting in human and material losses.
