International Meeting to Discuss Continued Closure of Libyan Oil Facilities

Italy has organized an international meeting via video conference to discuss the continued closure of oil facilities in Libya.

According to diplomatic sources, the meeting included officials from Germany, Italy, France, the United States, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Acting UN Special Envoy to Libya Stephanie Williams.

The meeting included an intervention by the Chairman of Libya’s state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah.

Sources said that the meeting reviewed the security, economic, and political aspects of the crisis and discussed the latest developments in the conflict.
