Ageela Saleh and Libyan Parliament Foreign Committee Chairman Discuss Latest Developments in Libya

On Sunday, the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Ageela Saleh held a meeting with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Parliamentary Committee, Youssef Al-Akkouri in Al Qubbah city.

The two officials discussed the latest developments in the country and ways to end the Libyan crisis according to the Berlin Conference’s outputs and the Cairo Declaration.

According to a statement made by the HoR spokesman, Abdullah Bleihaq, the two sides discussed setting up a mechanism to fairly and transparently distribute oil revenues to ensure that all Libyans are served, and their needs met.

Al-Akkouri briefed the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament on the results of his international contacts and the work of the Parliament’s Foreign Committee during the previous period, both locally and externally.
