Libya’s Emergency Medicine Center Participates in Global Conference in US

Libya’s Emergency Medicine and Support Center has represented the country at the EMS World Expo 2025, held in Indianapolis, Indiana, one of the most prominent international events dedicated to emergency medicine. The conference brought together thousands of experts, medics, doctors, and ambulance service directors from across the globe to discuss the latest advancements in the field.

According to the Center, Libya’s participation highlights the country’s growing presence in global medical forums and reflects its commitment to modernizing the national emergency response system in line with the latest international standards and best practices. The event provided a key platform for knowledge exchange, allowing participants to engage directly with global experts and institutions and to gain insight into emerging technologies shaping emergency care.

The conference featured sessions on rapid response systems, digital emergency management, and medical transport innovation, alongside workshops exploring disaster preparedness, field performance, and future challenges in emergency medicine.

Representing Libya at the Expo, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center delegation engaged in direct discussions with international organizations, aiming to transfer knowledge and enhance the skills of national medical and ambulance teams, ultimately improving the quality of services provided to citizens.

The Center affirmed that this participation aligns with its strategic vision to build a modern national ambulance and emergency network capable of keeping pace with global developments. It emphasized that involvement in international conferences is an essential component of updating training programs and operational technologies within Libya.

The Center also reaffirmed its determination to expand cooperation with international partners and continue opening up to global experiences, strengthening Libya’s leadership role in emergency medicine and establishing the country as a credible and proactive player in international medical collaboration.
