Interim Government PM Discusses Resumption of Higher Education Sector Studies

The Prime Minister of the eastern-based Interim Government, Abdullah Al-Thinni, discussed the ongoing preparations for the resumption of higher education institutions, amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

This came during a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Fatima Ghali. The two discussed plans to resume studies, as well as the government’s preventative measures, to avoid the spread of the virus among students.

The PM stressed the need to implement these plans as long as the safety of students is assured.
