On Monday, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Governor of the Turkish Central Bank, Murat Uysal. This is to strengthen economic and financial cooperation, between the two countries.
The Turkish Central Bank indicated that this comes within the framework of cooperation on central banking issues.
“Within the scope of the agreement in question, it is planned to carry out studies to improve economic relations between the two countries, as well as to strengthen financial cooperation,” it said in a statement.
