8 European Ambassadors Head to Libya to Present Credentials

On Saturday, eight European ambassadors left Tunisia for Libya to present their credentials to the relevant authorities in Tripoli.

The delegation included the ambassadors of the European Union, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Finland.

The Belgian ambassador to Libya and Tunisia, Christophe de Bassompierre, posted on his official Twitter account a photo of him with the rest of the ambassadors before their departure from Tunisia to Libya.

He captioned the photo: “8 European ambassadors on their way from Tunis to present their credentials in Libya – on a flight operated by Nobel Peace Prize WFP.”
