El-Sisi Sends Support Message to South Libyan Leaders in Cairo

The Egyptian National Committee concerned with Libyan affairs conveyed a message from Egypt`s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed to the southern Libyan leaders who are currently visiting Egypt.

During a conference with the leaders and sheikhs of southern Libya, the Egyptian committee said that El-Sisi is keen on the territorial integrity of Libya and supports an urgent peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis.

The committee confirmed that El-Sisi rejects foreign interference in Libya. The head of the committee affirmed Egypt’s full and absolute support for all legitimate aspirations of the Libyan people and their representatives. It also pointed at the continuation of Egyptian support to all efforts aimed at resolving the Libyan crisis and achieving security as well as stability as long as such achievements are based on inclusiveness.

The Libyan delegation stressed the necessity of Egypt’s contribution to solving the difficult situation in the Libyan south in a way that facilitates the daily life of Libyans.

For their part, the members of the Egyptian committee confirmed Egypt`s full readiness to respond to all the urgent needs of the Libyan people in the various regions of Libya.
