Last week, the Chadian Embassy in Libya has successfully repatriated 148 Chadian nationals who were held in immigration detention centers across Libya. According to the embassy, the identities of the individuals were verified, travel documents were issued, and arrangements were made to facilitate their safe return to Chad.
This repatriation effort highlights the ongoing cooperation between Libya and Chad to address the challenges faced by migrants in the region. The Chadian Embassy expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by Libyan authorities in ensuring the smooth processing and transportation of its citizens back home.
The embassy emphasised its commitment to supporting Chadian nationals abroad and reiterated the importance of legal and safe migration pathways. This recent repatriation is part of a broader initiative to safeguard the rights and well-being of Chadian migrants and to foster stronger bilateral relations with Libya.
