President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt and President Qais Saeed of Tunisia reaffirmed their belief for the need to resolve the crisis in Libya politically.

This came after the two leaders spoke on Thursday to discuss several regional issues, including resolving the conflict in Libya and combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two presidents agreed on the need for coordination to resolve the conflict in Libya, which is a major point of national security concern for both states.

They stressed the need for a political solution that would restore security and stability to the country by implementing the resolutions agreed upon during the Berlin Conference.
