Head of the Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi held telephone talks with the Jordanian King, Abdullah II on Tuesday.
According to an official statement, the two parties exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, emphasising the depth of the Libyan-Jordanian relations.
Al-Mnifi stressed his concern for the security and stability of Jordan, and congratulated King Abdullah on the anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom.
In turn, King Abdullah congratulated Al-Mnifi on assuming his duties as Head of the Presidential Council, stressing Jordan’s keenness to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
Notably, Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly arrived in Tripoli on Tuesday to meet a number of senior officials including Al-Mnifi, and Prime Minister, Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba.
