Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Libya Discuss Arab League Meeting On Libya

On Monday, the Foreign Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohamed Siala, discussed the latest developments in Libya with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud. The two also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to the Foreign Ministry’s media office, the discussion also touched on the Arab League meeting to be held on Tuesday regarding the situation in Libya.

Farhan stressed Saudi Arabia’s keenness to reach a real and sustainable ceasefire. It also emphasized its willingness to consult and cooperate to spare Libya more destruction and bloodshed.

He confirmed that the Kingdom supported a Libyan-led solution to the crisis.
