The Libyan Fund for Development and Reconstruction has reopened Al-Dhiaa Primary School in Derna. The school had remained closed for several years due to a lack of maintenance, with no renovation work carried out for over seven years.

This reopening is part of ongoing efforts to rebuild Derna and other affected areas. The initiative aims to create a safe and inclusive educational environment for students, ensuring the continuation of education under improved conditions.

The project is seen as a crucial step towards promoting stability and fostering sustainable development in the region. By restoring essential infrastructure like schools, the government seeks to support local communities and invest in the future of Libyan youth.

The reopening of Al-Dhiaa Primary School highlights the commitment to reviving vital services in Derna, a city that has faced significant challenges in recent years. The efforts are expected to have a positive impact on the lives of students, teachers, and families, contributing to the broader goal of national recovery.
