Haluk Özdalga, a former Turkish Member of Parliament, and a representative of the Alevis in the city of Ankara, confirmed that all routes are blocked for Turkey, to enter the war in Libya.

“If Turkey wants war with Libya, it should use Tunis or Algeria, but the answer is no, and only Malta remains,” Özdalga tweeted on Wednesday.

“But Malta also does not accept that, as it will place itself under severe pressure from the European Union, and will make itself a military target” Özdalga added. The former MP noted that Malta’s goal is to gain power through its support for Turkey as a way to bargain in Brussels.
