Libyan Consulate provides medical supplies to Libyan pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

Following a visit by a committee from the Libyan Consulate General in Jeddah, Libyan pilgrims put on quarantine in a Mecca hotel have been provided with disinfection supplies, gloves, and medicine for chronic diseases on behalf of the Consulate General.

The Libyan Consulate General stated that this delivery follows governmental instructions to cater to Libyan citizens who are grounded abroad by providing them with basic necessities amid the spread of COVID-19 (commonly known as Coronavirus).

Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation recently called upon the Libyan diaspora to comply with all necessary measures taken by their respective host countries to limit the spread of the virus.
