The Anti-Fuel Smuggling department, in cooperation with the Criminal Investigation department in Al-Marj, seized a large shipment of diesel fuel. This was intended to be sold on the black market.

Colonel Wahbi Anwar Al-Rakh, Director of Al-Marj Security, issued orders to empty all seized material inside the fuel station of the Security Directorate. He ordered that water trucks be supplied from the seized quantity, and to distribute the fuel to citizens free of charge.

Notably, diesel fuel has been in great shortage throughout the country, especially in the east. This has led to long lines in front of petrol stations, and a significant increase in its price on the black market.
