The Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched a website on Monday to follow statistics and news related to coronavirus in Libya.

Statistics published on the website show a that out of 59 suspicious cases, none were tested positive to the virus.

Several municipal councils have denied recording any infection cases, and have exhorted people to obtain information from the CDC, which issues an ongoing summary on suspected cases of the virus.

On Sunday, March 22nd, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA) announced the arrival of a team of five Chinese experts to the CDC to assist the Libyan medical team in matters related to the epidemic.
