The National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya held a technical meeting with Sirte Oil Company at its headquarters in Marsa El Brega. The meeting focused on reviewing the activities and achievements of Sirte Oil Company for the current year.

Discussions included projects aimed at increasing production to 120,000 barrels per day as soon as possible and addressing the challenges faced by the company. The goal is to boost output and ensure smoother operations amidst the existing difficulties.

Attendees of the meeting included directors of the technical departments of the NOC, the chairman and members of the management committee of Sirte Oil Company, and representatives from Jowfe Oil Technology, Libyan Engineering, Construction Company, and the Research Centre. This diverse attendance highlights the collaborative effort to enhance the oil production capacity and tackle operational hurdles effectively.

The NOC’s strategic emphasis on increasing production aligns with Libya’s broader economic goals. By aiming for a substantial increase in oil output, the NOC is positioning itself to contribute significantly to the national economy. The commitment to resolving technical and operational challenges is a step towards achieving these ambitious targets.

Moreover, the involvement of various specialised companies and the research centre underscores the importance of a multi-faceted approach to oil production. Each entity brings unique expertise to the table, fostering an environment of innovation and problem-solving. The collaboration is expected to expedite the implementation of projects and overcome any technical barriers.
