Libyan Government Mourns Members of Armed Forces Killed in Air Strikes

The Eastern based Interim Government of Libya, issued a statement mourning the loss of members of Libyan National Army (LNA) killed in air strikes conducted by Government of National Accord (GNA) aligned forces.

The statement added that the forces would protect the country and its citizens, fighting anyone who wished to harm the security and stability of the country.

The aerial bombardment comes as another violation of the humanitarian truce announced by the LNA and GNA. Calls for a ceasefire from the United Nations and various states, came in order to bring a halt to hostilities, and focus on the growing Coronavirus pandemic.
