Libya’s Ministry of Social Affairs Launches Social Support Program

On Wednesday, the Libyan Ministry of Social Affairs launched a national program for psychological and social support for citizens. The program’s slogan is “For a Coherent Society Free from Diseases”.

The head of the National Support Program, Hamdi Al-Nouhayli, said that social, psychological and health counselors would supervise the program alongside the Ministry of Social Affairs. A hotline would be provided to contact the program.

Al-Nouhayli stated that the program was launched according to the instructions of the Minister of Social Affairs, Fathia Ali Hamid, adding that awareness sessions will be broadcast on the program’s Facebook page for those that need support.
