Interim Government Forms Committee to Review Government Projects

On Monday, the Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thini of Libya’s Interim Government issued a decision to form a committee to review all projects approved by the government between 2014 and 2020. The committee will be headed by the Minister of Industry.

The Committee’s task is to classify the progress of each project and to determine the financials of projects that are yet to be implemented. The Committee will submit its first report in two weeks to the Prime Minister.

Members on the Committee include the Director of Projects and Technical Affairs, the Director of the Performance Evaluation Department, the Director of the Audit Office, a representative of the Legal Department, the Director of Financial Administration, and representatives from the Ministries of Interior, Justice and Education.
