On Saturday, Egyptian authorities announced new protocol for travelers coming from Libya, according to the Mitiga International Airport.

Mitiga International Airport clarified that travellers departing from Libya should take a PCR test within 72 hours of the date of their flight. Children under six years of age aren’t required to obtain the PCR test, the statement said.

The Egyptian authorities said that passengers should fill out a quarantine form for each passenger, although quarantine is not currently mandatory for travellers coming from Libya.

Libya and Egypt decided to resume flights between Benghazi and Alexandria on 10 November. Flights between the two destinations had been suspended for more than two years.
